When you use Alchetype, we collect:

Your email address — so we can send you your report and allow you to recover access to it.

Your first name — optional, used to personalise your report.

Your assessment answers — both the scored statements and your open-ended responses. These are the core input to your personalised report.

Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Basic analytics — page views and feature usage to understand how the product is being used. No personally identifiable information is attached.

Your email and assessment answers are used to:

— Generate your personalised Alchetype report using Claude (Anthropic's AI) — Deliver your report to your inbox — Allow you to recover access to your report later

We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not share it with third parties except as described below.

Anthropic — Your assessment answers are sent to Claude to generate your report. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.

Stripe — Handles payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Supabase — Our database provider, hosted in the EU. Your email and report data is stored here.

Resend — Used to deliver your report by email.

Vercel — Hosts the Alchetype website and application.

You have the right to:

— Access the personal data we hold about you — Delete your data (your report and email will be removed from our systems) — Correct inaccurate data — Object to processing — Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

Alchetype uses minimal cookies. A cookie consent banner is shown to users in the EU/EEA. We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site — no advertising or tracking cookies are used.

We retain your email and report data for as long as you want access to your report. If you request deletion, we'll remove your data within 14 days.

Your data is stored in a Supabase database with row-level security. Payment data never touches our servers — it's handled entirely by Stripe. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email if we have your address. The latest version is always at alchetype.co/privacy.
